I have been trying out different hierarchies for the publication. My idea is to have some form of concertina fold, or individual pages but have the pattern cut into the stock, either by engraving or kiss cutting onto card. the burnt look will add to the brown texture of the whole piece. So instead of being a mistake i can make it purposeful.
Going through the various layouts, i have worked out that visually i want it to go up in the form of rings, although it may not correspond to the information, it is is still a visual piece and it will work.
