ISTD - Laser Cut - Experiment

Today i experimented with the layout of the posters and the format. I wanted to try engraving them onto a substrate. I have brought the format down to A2 because if it is a set of 3 they need to line up against one another and 3A1s would be too big.
I wanted to try a test run to try out different effects, and to see that at the size i have it now the detail can actually be picked out.

The laser cutter worked well, i have marked up onto the piece what is wrong and what needs tweaking. Im really happy that i've done this because it meant that i could see where the problems lie. Overall i am happy with the aesthetic and i think that it will work. Next stage is to pick the the right substrate.

// The circles worked fine
// The numbers are too small and illegible need to be bigger
// Engraving was too deep and just burned
// Names and numbers on the left are too small

I have more space to play around with the layout of the circles and expanding the type and size. When i do this again, if i use this substrate i will only use kiss-cut.
