Dylan Thomas - analysis

I have chosen 5 poems from the selection that i looked at that i think best encompass Dylan Thomas and his work in prose. I have chosen poems that are up-beat, depressing and humorous. This is so that they can appeal to a wider market and try and engage a consumer in more ways than one.

In order for me to start developing them, i spent some time analysing the poems in order to get a better understanding of the underlying themes and what i can take from them to develop my range.

I have written each poem out and then highlighted the key areas of interest as well as making notes on the key phrases in the poems as well as outlining the themes of each one.
