I want a publication that will accompany the boards, this way it clearly outlines what the boards are about and it gives the consumer something to take away. I want the publication to be as bespoke as the boards, so that means overlapping the treatments, which will be to laser cut the specific ageing circles that accompany the information. This treatment will bring the identity of the project together and add level of tactility to the publication. I am looking to create that burnt effect on the card.
So i have been experimenting with content and format. I want the publication to be simple, and i may do more than one but right now i want to focus on creating a simple structure to one so that it could be applied to the other information that i have amassed.
I know already that i want to do a concertina fold with the format of the publication, so that it can be viewed from both angles. I would also really like the cut through the paper, however after experimenting i realised that if i cut through it would fall out. So going to have to Kiss cut.
After developing the format, i have been experimenting with basic layout, and i want to now develop it on screen to see if the elements will work at that level.
